So we’re all descendants of Monty? I guess we had to start somewhere.

I wasn’t a reader of this or its predacessor from the beginning so I was’t aware of his alien beginnings. It explains a lot, though.

Monty was never an alien. He’s the scientist who built the original Robotman and then had his memory erased by the government. It’s been implied that the procedure is what caused his lovable weirdness.

I could have sworn that, before Monty, there was some blonde guy who was Robotman’s sidekick/caretaker, kinda like Moondog but with hair. Does anyone remember something similar?
