I’m happy to see Monty finally scored.

After what she did with Monty she’s probably eating those herbs to control her nausea

Such a pretty salad it is. And pollen is very nutritious. It’s a good thing they didn’t have allergies back then.

Mmmmmmmm…..flowers……More purple ones!

Hunter and gatherer, I’m impressed.

Flowers as object lesson.Myself, I think I prefer a little more snappy conversation.But Monty is male (more or less) and very lonely.

NOT that such things are not important to women…But I think we have less ego involvement in the outcome.

A gift of roughage.

It used to be thought that back in the Palaeolithic women did the foraging and gathering while men hunted. Monty would naturally be the opposite. Besides, Oomuka’s eating the flowers is probably a greater appreciation of them than letting them stand in a vase and die….

It seems the Meddick has never been too hung up on continuity but here’s what he says in the interview: “That’s one reason why I changed Monty from an alien to an inventor—I thought there would be some continuity there.”To me, the strip isn’t as much fun if Monty’s an alien.

Candied violet blossoms, nastutiums in salads, zucchini flowers and don’t forget chamomile tea. And we eat Broccoli and cauliflower which are the flowers of the plants.

Monty’s gone native and is never coming back maybe?
