Clayton: Dad, can I own a hockey team when I'm older? Adam: Sure. What city would you put it in? Clayton: Portland, Hartford or Quebec City. Adam: Ooh. I'd love to see the whalers back. Clayton: Best jerseys ever. And that logo? Genius. Adam: The mysterious hidden 'H' and the whale tail. Clayton: I believe that was also the title to a Scooby-doo episode. Adam: Jinkies!

My! I didn’t know we had so many Scooby Doo experts. I had a cat named Jinkies. (And one named Jasper). I don’t know much about whales or whalers though.

Heh—a “whale tail” is slang for low-hanging pants on a large-cheeked woman, preferably with a thong or a tramp stamp above. And the Whalers logo looks remarkably like that…

I believe that’s a W wit hthe whale’s tail, not an H.
dante.deangelo about 12 years ago
The H is made by the W on the bottom and the tail on top.
