If there is 80 dozen eggs in that carton Ox is carrying. They must be pigeon eggs!

Looky the second frame – Delta is standin’ proud! The group’s visit to present the Easter baskets to the elderly will mean more to the elderly than the baskets. I hope this arc is short but goes well…

In the middle panel, it looks like Bernice is enjoying herself (unlike narcissistic Tiffany [as always] in the final panel).

In the third panel, it looks like the captain is ready to rejoin the home team.

Tonight’s top story! Local teens volunteer… Hey! Why is everyone changing the channel??!

Uh oh, “Heart of Gold” has just turned up for the limelight.

Bernice gave Delta a big argument about the Easter basket thing, but, she looks as if she’s the one enjoying it the MOST

Hmmmmm….Luanne + Tiffany = Multiple contusions and hair pulls!

“We’ll let the camera crews film you after you’ve made up 50 baskets, Tiff.”

80 dozen eggs is 960 eggs; if we figure four eggs per basket (plus in each Peeps, jelly beans, other candy, paper grass, etc.), there should be at least 240 baskets for lonely oldsters. We see Delta and her crew including Luann, Oxford, Rosa, Gunther, and Bernice, and probably at least one or two more off-camera (Crystal and Knute?)—possibly 30 baskets per volunteer. And then along came Tiffany Farrell, looking for TV face-time…. Sigh!

Rosa and Gunther are still acting quite coupley. I see no evidence of the persistent theory that Gunther has some mysterious love for Luann lying around.

Egg trays contain 30 eggs (2 and a half dozen) and are packed two trays per layer.. Each layer of eggs holds 5 dozen eggs and 6 layers give you the thirty dozen eggs. This is standard packing or restaurants.

Seems like Delta is loving this exactly like Tiffany. She’s just better at hiding it. It’s an ego boost for both of them.

Wow, she walks into the room and it’s like the…wow:) She’s just so…so…Wow! // Close Delta, we’ve seen that Tiffany has other priorities, TV coverage probably isn’t her Only priority here, it’s just her First priority, ha ha:)

Easter Baskets for the Elderly!

BREAK out the PAAS Easter Egg Colorin’ Kits!!

Say, what are They gonna put IN those baskets, anyway?

May I SUGGEST various packs of CAREFULLY Blended COFFEE?

And Dixie Cups! The kind with the Charlie Brown Stripe ’cross the top?

And DANISH! Don’t Forget the DANISH!

And have Tiffany DELIVER them wearing a Playboy Bunny costume!

I’m SURE that at least the Old Gents would get a BIG Charge out of THAT!

Looks like Delta was able to twist plenty of arms. Why isn’t Delta doing the work instead of standing there shmoozing with the chief? She’s just like our community organizing president.

Unless you’re as fake as Tiffany is and then only the equally fake will take you seriously. For some such people, that is enough.

As people age, the taste buds diminish. The taste “sweet” is the last to go, and that is why the elderly enjoy candy and desserts so much. Those baskets will be devoured, i’m sure.

Those boxes they ship 20 egg flats in are great. Four fit crossways and three long ways in a Prius with space for a trombone in between. We pick up old bread on the way to church and deliver it afterwards to a food bank (I play the trombone during) and they all fit like they were designed for each other with only about an inch of empty space wasted.

A standard 30 dozen egg box is about 24×15×15 inches or 5400 cubic inches. An 80 dozen egg box would therefore have to be around 14,400 cubic inches. You can get that with a box that is 30×24×20.

We are seeing the box that Ox is holding from its side. Its height reaches from around his stomach to the top of his head, which can easily be 24". Its depth sticks out of panel, but could easily be 20", the length of his forearm plus fingers. And a large man such as Ox could easily wrap his arms around a box that is only 30" wide.

So while 80 dozen eggs is an unusual size for a bulk egg box, it could easily fit in the box that Ox appears to be holding.

Once again I ask…. WHAT ARE PEEPS???

Luann is actually doing something other than talk to Quill. That doesn’t seem like her. She’s been neglecting her friends for him. After all, didn’t she used to hang out with Delta and Bernice? Now they are shown doing things without her.
