Godzilla has been under therapy for many years. He had this unfortunate addiction to stomping Tokyo on regular basis, but he seems to now have that under control.. When he needs to release steam, he has sublimated his former RRRAWWR! into a primal scream. (His neighbors have to wear hearing protection.) He is on a structured payment plan whereby he is making restitution on all the property damage he caused. He will have it paid off, it is estimated, by the year 2856. Good thing he’s immortal..Godzilla is on record as saying to the judge, “Sorry I broke some stuff.” He has since made up with Gammera and Mothra. (Rodan passed away some years ago.) They sometimes go on camping trips together.
The very first Godzilla movie, if I remember correctly, was two separate productions blended together. The special effects part was from a Japanese film, the part with Raymond Burr added later. I’m not a Godzilla expert. The movies satisfied my special effects craving as a kid whereas American movies of that genre were relatively small-scale and more for adults.
