On the day that JFK was assassinated, all of my high school teachers in Hawaii kept their classroom speakers on, so we could listen to the news, except for my Algebra teacher, who turned it off and taught the class as usual.
I remember how my brother warned me about my Social Studies teacher in Junior High. Her name was Hazel and they called her Witch Hazel. Then she made me her pet and I ran her errands for her. To thank me, she gave me a B because I wasn’t in class all the time for the lessons. Hmm…
When I was in Elemenary school all the horror stories were about the 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Molinow, but I enjoyed her when I had her, I never had any problems, maybe because I was actually well behaved compared to my brothers and sisters.
