Something about a copyright problem. They have access to the complete run, but can legally run only these few. Several years ago they were running other story lines. In one case there was a gap (Atomic Bum story) but explained a week or so was missing from the official files. (But did fill in with microfilms of local newspaper. More interesting was the Alley Oops at that time. Seems they brought Dinny back to modern times and local road commissioner was hard pressed to explain how tracks were appearing in solid concrete!)
