I hate when trees have to be staked. I had a paloverde in the front yard when I moved in but wind damage made me decide to remove it and put in a 3’W fountain. That is surrounded by red lantanas now. They did not go all around yet here. and other plants are somewhat changed.

Staked trees grow weaker than unstaked.
