I still remembering the time I decided to emulate my dad on what he did during the Korean war. made a antenna out of wire. and using the backs of my bookcases to hold it. in his defense he was in radio communications back then. and the antenna he made was easily ten feet by ten feet.
Been there, done that…except the antenna wasn’t on the roof…it was right outside the living room window. When I changed channels, I opened the window and rotated the antenna…such good ole days.

And how you miss those days of analog TV when you could pick up stations from other cities! Who really needed cable or satellite?

LOL! I remember being the kid doing this!!! Dad on the roof with the antenna, Mom in the living room with the TV, and me passing messages between.

Out dated, since they don’t work any more as the stations have switched over to digital.
