Nothing attracts a cat like freshly tilled soil! I’ve had them walk up and dump a load right in front of me when I was sorting out grass and weeds from a flower bed I’d freshly loosened with a spade. If you like cats, you have to put up with it sometimes. Ha!
A stray cat that I was feeding watched me plant flowers in my flower bed. My phone rang and I went inside and talked for a while. When I came back outside the cat had dug up my flowers and “planted” her own (poo) in their place. LOL.
I don’t believe it is safe to let cats poo in your tomato garden. That might cause ecolli. I don’t know how to spell it but, you know what I mean. To keep cats from pooing in my tomato garden,I spread garden rocks. That way they can’t dig, so they won’t “plant”.
Right but, if they can’t scratch out a spot to “plant” in the first place…….. that’s what the garden rocks prevent. Wouldn’t want kitty pee mixing in the soil either.

I think Jimmy was going for the “stopped in her tracks” reaction. Still, seems like Luddie was just doing his bit and helping to fertilise the soil..

It apparently has some dirt mixed in with it – Arlo didn’t want to get the pure product on the shovel. I sure wouldn’t.

Doesn’t she know that all she had to do is dig a deeper hole for it. Wouldn’t it make good fertilizer?

So, dumping cow or horse manure for $$$ is OK, but FREE cat droppings are bad??
