Travis should be OK, as long as he has his lid on. Glass containers (carboys) were used to carry acid in the past. I think the snake might have a bit of difficulty getting rid of him, though.
Unlike decaying guinea pig and rotting bunny head, Travis-in-his-jar is undigestible and will accordingly be regurgitated by the snake. That’s what the big snakes do.So, relax a bit, Gary, Leopold, and Owen!

The lid is either tin or steel. In a day or two, that will be compromised by the acid. So, the race is on.
