Like a pianist without a fussbudget. I just looked up the compounds of that word. “Budget” used to mean “a large number” of anything, so a fussbudget comes with a large number of hissy fits.

The word gay has certainly changed since the 60’s

Gay was used in the 60s. We had a 4th grade teacher whose daughter was very butch. She told us one time that some words change their meaning and that she was somewhat disappointed. She said the “gay” was one of those words. She did not elaborate, but we put 2 and 2 together in a couple of years.

Forget the “Schroeder is gay” crap. At the age the kids are at every boy knows that girls have cooties and should be avoided like the plague (or cooties).
