Reminds me of the R/C helicopter I bought for my nephew last Christmas. He was there to open the package but had to go back to his mother’s place before the battery was fully charged and he was able to fly it. When his dad got back from taking him to his mother’s place the helicopter was charged up so he figured he’d “test it out” to make sure it operated properly. After a few false steps he got it in the air, bumped it into the ceiling, crashed it and broke one of the rotor blades. Fortunately he was able to get a replacement blade before Brian came back to his place.
Back in the 1960s, the first RC helicopter entered the FAI record books. It was built by a professional helicopter pilot and had almost all the parts, miniaturized, as the ones he flew for a living. The endurance record he set was thirty seconds! A decade later a record was set of two hours – inverted.

When it doesn’t work just tell Nelson he must have done something to it.
