Reminds me of the story about Jesus coming upon a group about to stone an alleged adulteress and he admonished them, “You who are without sin, let you cast the first stone!” As a rock was hurled at the woman Jesus shouted, “Mother, what are you doing here?!”
That story was so beloved (minus the virgin mary joke) that it horned its way into Lukes Gospel without his by your leave. It went viral, apparently, and that the most powerful preservation!.
