Last night we were driving past a place that said Notebooks were 300 and something dollars. I was picturing the kind of notebook Betty is writing on only with a binder. 300 and something dollars? Then I remembered the OTHER kind of notebook lol!
In my industry, we still use paper and pencil to get field information. There are too many places where the accidental signal that might be sent out by a portable electronic device can cause sensitive electronic equipment to receive or send an errant signal nad result in great harm. Also the art of sketching with quick notes can get an idea across to a co-worker a lot faster than a emailed document.
There are so many parts of our programs at work that copy & paste will not work. Will never work. And the only proper way to open someone’s account is by their account number..so pen and paper is very handy when someone calls.

What’s that she’s holding? A clay tablet and a wedge-shaped stick?
