There was an early peanuts cartoon that was eerily similar to this one. down to the same toy. I guess great minds think alike huh?

It was long, long ago – back in the early days when the characters looked dramatically different than they do now. I don’t think that the conversation was in any way close to the conversation in this Cul de Sac strip, but I can’t remember what was discussed. (I think it was either Linus and Charlie Brown or Charlie Brown and Lucy.)
