Gohmert claimed that Muslim terrorists are being trained to act like Hispanics in order to get to the US from Mexico. He also claims that the drug cartels are hosting Al-Qaeda training camps. Of course, there is not a shred of evidence to support this nonsense. Combining the bogeymen of terrorists, drug lords & illegal immigrants plays well with the people who hate all brown skinned folks. That’s Gohmert’s base.
