Alice: Petey! There are lightning bugs out in our yard! Petey: Tell Dad to get the bug spray. Alice: No, we're catching them! It's fun! Petey: Bugs plus electricity equals something best avoided. Why not just call them light-socket, or live-wire bugs, or short-circuit bugs, or downed-power-line bugs? Alice: Forget it!

I’m quite certain lightning bugs are not a source of voltage and even if they are it’s quite negligible.
