Cul de Sac by Richard Thompson for September 13, 2008
Transcript:
Alice: Petey, what's underground? Petey: Well, there's dirt. And caves and wires and pipes and lava. And sewers and dead people and bats. And blind fish and spiders. And dwarven kingdoms and mole people. And somewhere there's a cavern with left-over extinct giant ground sloths. Alice: It sounds like a wonderland! Petey: It could be, if they ever get the sewer gas problem fixed.

I think I sense an environmental metaphor in this strip. Way to go Cul de Sac!
