Alice: Petey! I drew a list of all the things I want for Thanksgiving! Petey: You don't get presents for Thanksgiving! You go to Grandma's house and choke down stuffing. (shudder.) Alice: Grandma's house? But that's where Big Shirley the Giant Scary Dog lives! What I want for Thanksgiving is not to be devoured by Big Shirley. Petey: Slather yourself with stuffing. She'll spit you right out.

sometimes i think that Thanksgiving was almost to make up 4 all the selfishness in Christmas…… cuz i know i get really caught up in the season of ‘getting’ :)

I know what you mean. Thanksgiving is just that, a holiday to give thanks for all our blessings, and to enjoy wonderful food with family and friends. It’s simple and to the point.

Maybe we should change the order, have Christmas before Thanksgiving. Then we could be thankful for all the presents.

at my elemantary school, they had a thanksgiving meal and that was the only stuffing I ever ate as a kid.

Petey hates stuffing because he can see all the different foods touching eachother. And their flavors mix.Plus he’s lying to Alice about slathering herself with stuffing keeping Shirley away, unless the stuffing is made with tofu.
