Kevin: Like where'd this dumb hat come from. Alice: Ha ha! Its the dumbest hat ever. Dill: You clean out your cubby, then security escorts you from the building. Kevin: Ha ha! Ive got a dumb hat! Alice: Ha ha! Hey, wait. Thats my hat. Dill: Well have to find positions at other preschools and take pay cuts! Kevin: You should thank me. Alice: Your big fat head ruined my favorite hat! Marcus: Look at me! Beni: Miss Bliss is hugging people! If you value your dignity, run!

This is sheer genius! Love it! Dill speaks directly to us, the serious little “repoussoir” of this baroque fantasy, while Alice tries to sort out the mysterious cap with Kevin the Buckethead and Nara, Marcus, and Beni contribute their own skewed takes on the Last Day. Run for your dignity!
