When Yogi Berra played baseball he often swung at very bad pitches, though was very successful as a hitter. In order to make him more disciplined his manger Casey Stengel told him that he wanted him to think about the pitches he swung at while at bat.
Well the next time he batted he was called out on 3 straight strikes. Frowning as he walked back to the dugout, Stengel asked him what was wrong. Yogi responded, gee how’s a guy supposed to think and hit at the same time.

Do judges and lawyers have to think – all is scripted for them by the law?

I always wanted to see someone ‘accidentally’ keep calling Judge Judy, ‘Mom’.

Same here. With the sole exception of Judge Wapner, I just can’t take TV “judges” seriously.
