When I donate, I usually get asked again the following year. What upsets me is that most organizations expect you to give more the next year. I would prefer they ask that I donate the same and if I give more I will. I do not like their assumptions.

Agreed. The more I give to a charity the more they expect. Their literature starts out asking for money in increments of $20 $25 $30 $40 Other $ and then starts to creep up so soon I’m receiving letters asking me to donate $50 $100 $150 $200 Other $!
By then, if I give at all, I give Other $

“Give till it hurts” is what one says to someone else.

I would like a thank you without asking for more. The few that do get more.
