I love the series too - especially because my daughter (a college sophomore) is a fanatic on these things. Her favorite (honors) science project her senior year was a diorama of the arboreal forrest. We had to BUY all the plastic animals we had given away two years earlier - under the delusion that they would not be needed again. So Petey, keep your dioramas - they may come in handy with your own kids (just hope they do not have the same teachers!)
And then THAT diorama could have him making a diorama of him making a diorama which could have a diorama of him making a diorama which would have (rambles on for several hours)
