This is going to be a lengthy tale….

Many of my high school classes were in a pre-fab add-on.

Alice loves her brother so…….She can’t wait to tell him all about it…………………..That’s sweet!

My whole sixth grade was in a pre fab (one of three). The teacher in the middle pre fab was an ex golden gloves boxer. When a student got out of hand you used to hear them bouncing off of the walls. (This was obviously back in the day when a teacher could take matters into their own hands, so to speak.)

Alice is levitating, she’s so excited!

My fifth & sixth grade classes were also in portables. No ex-boxers, but my first male teachers…..

The first thing I noticed in the strip were Alice’s legs - nice work! And Happy Birthday, Cul de Sac. :)

Alice’s legs make me imagine that sound effect in old Hanna-Barbera cartoons when characters are about to take off running.

I can so relate .. except that our school didn’t have nearly the maze that this is…. still our school had a new wing to the building and part were round buildings – getting used to where things were took awhile!

Ha ha! Love Alice’s expression in the first panel! Great drawing - the face, the hair, and of course the legs!

Actually, this is an experiment by the local high school psychology class. Classic mouse in the maze …
