Plane enthusiasm! Volunteers at the San Diego Air and Space Museum spent 12 years in 100,000 man hours building a 1932 Boeing P-26 fighter from scratch!

When the Japanese invaded the Philippines in 1941, some P-26 fighters were still in service there. They were no match for the Japanese Zeroes.
