I’m ashamed that it took me a few tries to get it. I blame lack of coffee. Yeah, that’s it.

Fantastic as he is I’m happy to report I wrote this way before I’d even heard of Mr Pastis!

Pastis will probably recycle this somewhere down the line.

I spoke to Pastis just as he was embarking on one of his ‘Meet The Troops’ tours in Iraq. He told me he left a note on his desk for his wife saying if anything should happen to him she was to contact me and ask if I’d continue his strip for him. I’m delighted to report he survived.

LOL! Love it! When my husband and I went on a cruise many, many moons ago, the crew sang “happy birthday” to one of the passengers. Because of all the different accents and nationalities of the crew, it sounded very much like “apy borsh day 2 shoes”…. we still joke about it! ;)

Gawd I love this strip.
