Yup, denial. Nate is in a world of “It’s all about ME.” I love it.

So Jenny moving to Seattle was…ABSOLUTELY POINTLESS!

Nate Wright is the Stupendous Man of this strip.

Not “pointless”. In real life we have people go, and never see them again, but also some go and return- my best friend moved away in 3rd grade, but returned in the middle of 5th.

The whole story arc had Nate, Jenny and Artur experiencing various emotions. That is not pointless. In fact, it lets us see different aspects of who these characters are.

In P2 Nate is all smiles about the two cuddle bunnies. In P3 Artur is like “maybe it’s NOT so awesome”. And Jenny is like “What? I’ve been so mean and Nate is happy about me being with Artur…maybe he knows something about Artur that I don’t and thinks I deserve the payback”. Well played Nate! Hope you roll on with that attitude, the chicks always seem to go for guys who act like they don’t care.

Interesting the way she looks at Nate when she says it. Getting the feeling she would want to be with him, but just thinks it wouldn´t work out.

Jenny hates him.

Nate wants to rewind to the part where Jenny wasn’t being all mushy with Artur!

Maybe if you start ignoring her Nate.

Exactly, Shygirl27. Nate, I hoped you’ve learned that the neediness bit will not payoff. As Stuart Smalley said on SNL years ago, “I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and doggone it, people like me”. This should be your new motto, Nate!

I am probably the only person here who actually feels bad for Nate.

I never liked Jenny. Of everyone in this comic, she has got to be the biggest jerk to Nate. Why did she have to be brought back?
