@simpsonfan2; Nope.. they BUILD ‘em like that here in FL. The golf nuts accept it as a natural hazard.. sorta like walking around in "no man’s land" when the artillery is busy from the other side.. Makes no sense at all.
She was having a Long Island iced tea. Already passed out, Lola. The bump occurred earlier when she tripped and fell, then she sat down to polish that golf ball while she drank her tea. So you see, it had nothing to do with you.
There’s a course not far from here that more or less grew up around a private residence. Resident put up a fence around the house; and it’s posted: Hit your ball inside the fence, forget about getting it back.
We lived in a neighborhood just down the street from the “golf course community” and one day I managed to break a window so we called out the repair guy and he was sorry he was late because he thought the address was in that neighborhood at first, there was evidently one house he’d replaced windows at 3 times in one year!
