I’ve got some really good things at garage sales, yard sales, estate sales and swap meets. Too many to specify, but got a lot of nice small pieces of furniture when we moved to the U.S. for a few years. My favourite was a (reproduction?) cobbler’s bench. Wish I still had it.
Too early in the morning for me on Saturdays. I like to sleep in a bit, read my comics and drink my coffee. And having them yourself is a pain in the butt! And never worth the work you do beforehand!
I used to visit the ones of my neighbors with Cuddles and I once brought home a large solid brass eagle statue (some idiot had painted it black). I removed the paint and polished it and now it lives on the ledge above my pantry with some other bird statues. I collect many bird artifacts of varying materials (as well as things I make myself).
@Bev, the mixer I have is a bright red Kitchen Aid that my man bought for me when the red first came out, with all the attachments (still love it) and I have the matching blender and toaster now. He knows I love red and cooking.

I don’t do garage sales.

I went to a garage sale once, but they only wanted to sell the junk on the driveway.

Not a fan of the garage sale. A good estate sale can be fun and I enjoy auctions, but not garage/yard sales.
