And if Burl is eating cabbage soup, I see “skywriting” in his near future.

The chef could use a hairnet for his arms, too.

Yeah, but the cracker assortment and the tapioca really elevated the meal.

Don’t know where to start – Crowd looks like an outdoor BBQ, and chairs are assorted junk (so not a good restaurant) and if the Jerry clone is the chef, with multiple cuts and a filthy apron and hair net? Ant they brought their own cups, but sign on their table indicates a cheap restaurant. Everyone (including Pennys) is in casual attire and menu is a mystery other than the fact that crackers (rather than any pretense at baked goods) shows a place that is not even trying.

The only thing entirely out of place is full length white tablecloths.

Courtesy and class are never out of place.

In the books “U-Pioneer-It: An Early History of the Pennys’ Tri County Migration” and “The Crustwood Exile” it’s revealed that Burl and Joy met at a PEG seminar at which Burl was the facilitator.

For the kids out there.. PEG (Poise Etiquette and Grooming) seminars were quite popular in Old America, you know, before the present day unpleasantness.

Thank you very much for reading my silly post :)
