I’ve heard about bat saliva being used as medicine before. Supposedly it contains an anticoagulant, which allows the bat to suck enough blood while keeping it from clotting.

It’s actually common n Africa to eat the chicken bones after eating chicken. A friend of mine that went into the peace corp told me about it. Wonder what it does to their jaw muscles?

I bet “draculin” will be very expensive (like TPA is, which does a similar thing at $2000 per dose). Maybe it would be cheaper to keep colonies of vampire bats around and let them bite the patient?

Those missiles are still a bargain, when compared with the young lives of our military men and women that could have been lost or traumatized with PTSD, amputations, etc., and the life long treatments associated with their injuries.
