    In the 35 years I was married to my x I think our brain cells changed. Both of us feel that we’re not the same person we married.

    Interesting! IMO, if new neuron cells are not generated after birth, and synapses can’t progress to form new connections after transfer from the living human body, the cyborg is born dead. A great point for argument in a philosophy class, but it’s sort of been done in a 1983 Steve Martin movie.
