I waz talking about the middle ’50’s when Jax was the cheapest we could get without a cover charge along the “Biloxy Beach.” Oh, them boilermakers… yer right, they’re sure costly to a man’s health and mind-set, especially amongst a base-ful of recruits steamin with semen at Keester AFB. Been thru there muchly in my career and retirement, Nothing’s changed, just the color of the barmaids hair.(the beer’s ‘hot’ when it’s over 42 degrees, they used to say)Fun times.
