    Morning Leaky!

I think they need a little of that conversation starter stuff….though talking about the time wouldn’t be much of an improvement.

Oh well, almost anything is an improvement over their usual conversation.

The antimacassar that says “what smells”………..I’ll tell you what smells…….When you put that many fat people in one room with a temp of 74%…That’s what smells

I’m too hot. I’m too cold. Waaa. Waaa. Self-indulgent babies. I think the “too cold” comment is a ploy to cover up the cheapness of keeping his house at 78. And BTW, I’ll bet that 78 is more like 80. Harrumph!Good morning all.

The numbers sound like they’re at an auction or they’re trying to outdo each other while getting in the last word. When we lived with central air in a big house, we always kept it about 72-74 degrees. Anything warmer, the upstairs wouldn’t get cool enough. If you can’t stand the heat….lol

In today’s Dilbert Classics there are people very similar to these idiots. They’d fit right in.

    Hmmmm………this is disturbing.

Several of us regular posters had this same conversation about a/c temps a while back.

Is Julie trying to lump us in the same category as the Pennys?

This is mortifying. The thought of this has made me assume the fetal position.

I’m lucky, I get to sleep with all the bedroom windows open and the one in the bathroom faces east where the gorge wind is always (almost always) cool. The downstairs is set at 77, plenty cool. Still, I can’t wait for cold and rain. Winter baby, remember?

It’s partly the humidity; back in the Midwest, I kept summer around 75 (but the outside in summer goes 60-90%). Here in Phoenix I can have 84F day and night as long as RH stays under 40%. Right now the outside temp is 94, but I disconnected the weather channel on my PC. During morning news RH was under 50% and dropping, so around 40% now.

Even the Pennys do something right PART of the time (like a stopped clock) is right once or twice a day

Susan and Mikie hop to it.

Last night during the LSU game, I marinated 4 beautiful T-Bones ………theyre going on the grill shortly. Steak fries and salad also. My hungry relatives will probably beat you both here.

I just had bean salad and stuff for my supper tonight; I’ll be glad when I can return to eating a moderate amount of meat and cheese (and would not mind a glass of cold gin).

As to sports on TV (any) that is not my thing (and so glad that the guy I love has no interest in that either. I messenged him and we both watched a 2-hour show on the History Channel:“101 Objects that changed the World”. That was worthwhile and I could watch/listen while doing the ink work for the illumination of 2 scrolls. Tomorrow I’ll start applying the gouache (color). I want to take to a meeting Tuesday night to find out what text is needed for current awards to be given at next court event.

Even a couple of minutes matters, cos I like mine yanked off the grill just a few seconds after they stop mooing….

But thanks, anyway…. and I hope your relatives enjoyed MY steak,This time.

    And I woulda brought pie!

@Leaky,That is fine as long as it’s not cold! Really good meat is fine totally rare (I like it that way). I DO eat small portions tho’ and when I can finally get off this veg thing in February I will be even more moderate (in proportion size – not methods).
