    My first flight was on Westjet traveling to Halifax. Our flight attendant was a laugh riot. On our descent he says, "Ladies and gentlemen, those on the right side you get a lovely view of halifax harbour and the large ships, those on the left, you get the swamp…. "

    My first flight was from Birmingham, Al to Beauford, S.C. I was a 17yo kid on my way to boot camp at Parris Island to become a Marine. That was 1964! Signed up for a 3yr stint serving my last year (66-67) in Vietnam. What a 3 years it was! While in the states, I was stationed with a helicopter squadron. Did a lot of flying by the time I got out!
