Oh, guys! What have you done to the Fourth Wall?! Self-aware comic strip characters critiquing an overrated rip-off artist who did not acknowledge the underpaid comic artists he stole from [props to David Barsalou] while serving as art museum guards is priceless!

When you spend enough time on GoComics, real life starts to look like a comic strip.

I submit for your consideration that the fourth wall has NOT been broken here. To break the 4th wall the characters would have to speak ‘through the pane’ directly to the reader. In this case, they’re speaking to each other about the ‘back’ of the panel… in effect breaking the FIFTH wall !!!!

… Oh, and did I mention it’s PURE GENIUS?
