Wally: Rowf (x4) Ralph: Wally, what's wrong with you? Wally: What's wrong with me? I'm trying to alert you all to the presence of danger! There's a badger at the door, and I don't want him to get close to my loved ones! ... Or the dumb cat, for that matter! Oogie: Awww!

Cats are not dumb. They just act that way to get your sympathy… which is smart!

Awww.

They’re certainly smarter than dogs of equivalent size. I saw a lost Yorkie running down the middle of the street awhile back. A cat would be out looking for food and a safe environment, and probably find it.

Cats aren’t smart enough to stay out of the road and become roadkill. People ought to keep their cats at home and never let them out.

Our cat wasn’t afraid of cars and would sit in the middle of the street until a car came along and the driver would stop, pick her up and put her on the curb and then continue to drive along. Unfortunately, she did it once when the driver didn’t stop his car. Our neighbor found her and disposed of her since we were away.
