Hah! Management with a sense of humor? Not at my workplace. Oddly, management people are always exhorting us to “make work fun..” until we actually do.
My hubby has that problem of saying what he’s thinking and sometimes doesn’t engage the brain/mouth filter. When he has one of those over-the-top moments, I lovingly let him know he’s not only opened his mouth, but inserted his foot all the way up to his thigh….
Thinking of Crystal Bernard’s character Helen on the comedy series “Wings” with Tim Daly, speaking in her thickest hillbilly accent in order to irritate a particular person, she said “Yep, once them words is out there, you can’t suck ’em back in, nope”. It was hilarious! Still when I see it, it makes me laugh!

As my mom use to say, “Your tongue got caught on your eye tooth and you couldn’t see what you were saying!”

Consider before speaking the most insulting way your comment could be perceived, and that’s what a female is programmed to react to.

We used to have two heavy set guys with goatees who looked enough alike so that the taller one caller the shorter one “mini-me”

Too true. I’ve learned to give emails/texts on passionate subjects a 24 hour clearing period before SENDing.

Nice of her to leave three fingers and his nose alone.

Reminds me of the time I likened my boss to a certain Star Trek captain..Of course, he started it with that “Make it so,” quip.

Been there done that… not with quite such catastrophic consequences though, although maybe long-term.
