Why doesn’t she go to the ballet with her mother? I’ve never understood why some couples would rather inflict their choices on their spouses instead of going with a friend who would really appreciate the event.
How does this marriage continue to survive? My husband does not watch football. He might even prefer to watch a ballet, but I would never double schedule something out of spite. Although Sam’s shrine is ridiculous, I would rather fight that battle.
