PT Boats – that is Patrol Torpedo Boats – would be a lousy choice for riverine warfare. They aren’t likely to run into anything that needs torpedoes but the weight of the torpedo equipment would restrict the amount of additional guns the boats could carry. Better choice would be the British MGB – Motorized Gun Boat – which carried two 2 pdr guns (artillery) and eight machine guns.
Tarzan will lead 2/3 of FishFace’s troops into the quicksand swamps, then will attend to the survivors on the PT boats. I think the river gimlas will be very hungry by then…….:)> That’sNoCrocAGowa!!
