    That doesn’t happen, the pipes are screened to prevent that from happening.

    They stock fish in some of the small remote mountain lakes in the Uintahs by airplane.

    pumaman: The Hughes H-4 Hercules has eight engines, not four. It looks like a fair rendering of the Martin Mars, which has been used as a water bomber..onceisenough: Laying strips of bacon over the fish keeps it tender all over, as well as being a good timer – when the bacon is crisp, the fish is done.

    Reminds me of a story about a guy found dead in the wilderness after a forest fire, dressed completely in scuba gear. They were baffled for the longest time until someone remembered they had skimmed the coast with buckets of water to fight the fire… not sure if it’s a true story or not!

    Mountaingreenery: Wouldn’t matter, the scoop acceleration shock will kill them anyway. Helicopter buckets don’t have the acceleration, but don’t have filters either.
