We hear these all the time around this house. Usually done as an Elvis impersonation.

I at least soak everything as soon as I’m done eating, and usually wash dishes while fixing next meal (or within an hour later when I pass through the kitchen). No one here but me, so I’d better do them. When at his house, I wash as soon as done eating and put in dishwasher (and he sometimes does his if he eats faster than me).

At home, I only do greasy things and plastic in the machine.

Tony’s question from Facebook – “Do you put dishes in the sink?”. I do. My husband INSISTS on doing the dishes himself – so fine – I leave them for him.

No, I do not leave dishes in the sink. I do the dishes and try to clean as I cook so that I do not have a big stack to do after dinner. My wife, on the other hand, creates a big stack of unwashed pots and pans, when she cooks.

Tony’s question from Facebook – “Do you put dishes in the sink?”.==No, just the odd pan or skillet when they need a sudsy soak.Usually everything else goes straight into the dish washer …(now that it’s fixed.)

Only if they need to soak. Everyone else puts dishes in the sink for the clean up fairy.

Sorry for the late question. Gocomics didn’t update when they usually do so I couldn’t post last night.

The spouse is in the everyone else category. I am the clean up fairy. As for the wings and wand…..I’m not telling. ;-)

Speaking of soaking dishes…soaking in cold water is the way to go. i have never had to scrub a dish soaked in cold water.

I missed your comment before….Girlfriend you need a vacation! Let them fend for themselves for a while. A girls weekend or week helps ease the pain. I take one every year, 2 if I’m lucky, I think it’s the reason I’m still sane.
