Being rescued is a big relief to any bodyguard.

Linus is usually the smart one, but here he just rolls his eyes. Why not set P. Patty straight, and say, “Snoopy is a dog, he only thinks he’s human.”

If Peppermint Patty had figured out that Snoopy was a dog, we wouldn’t have all these great cartoons about it. Makes me smile every time. (Miss you, Sparky!)

Why’s that?

Gotta love the fact that Peppermint Patty thinks Snoopy is a kid and isn’t aware that he’s a dog, and Snoopy does need a nap after getting lost.

But you had to wonder…sometimes Miss Reichart would get involved with things with Snoopy that you really wouldn’t with a dog…at least, most people wouldn’t…

Children always see a friendly dog or cat as “1 of the kids” and Charles Schultz realized that.
