Someone’s been to San Francisco. Fisherman’s Wharf, to be exact.
the Dungeness will be ready in a pinch…
Gawd, I MISS San Francisco!
I miss the wharf. Casually strolling along, eating crab or calamari from a paper cup, watching the pelicans down by the Ferry Building…. Sigh.
Thanks, all. This Midwestern girl transplanted to S. Europe didn’t get it.
Cue up “Santa Monica Pier” (Holly Near).
I miss the U.S. …
Crabby kitty wif a biscuit sign under ’is arm
Ahhh… Ghirardelli Square… the trolleys… Golden Gate park… sigh!
I feel sorry for anyone that has never tasted a true SanFrancisco sourdough.
It seems to me the drawing would be clearer if the bread bag were being held open-end-up, but Kliban probably had his reasons.
And living in San Francisco, when I see that shape with the word “Sourdough” written on it, my mind has no trouble jumping right to “French bread”…
I left my crabs in San Francisco…
