    The US gov’t spends millions each year to keep the screwworms from spreading from Mexico into the US.About 1950, we had a calf that had an infected navel. The treatment then was to pour cloroform(sp) on the wound, and the maggots boiled out by the dozens!Next year – no problem – the Winter kills them.Found later, someone about 60 miles away had brought in some infected livestock from the SW – and they spread that far in one summer!

    @Night-Gaunt49—It’s called WALL Street because the original settlers (the Dutch) built a large wall to keep out Native tribes. Several blocks north, there was a canal, which of course became -— Street!

    The North Korean’s claim to have the largest herd of unicorns in the world. Very strange place NK. Not sure why even they would do this, but that’s what they claim (among many other weird claims)
