Vando, vando, Tantor! Kreegah! Tantor bundolo! Tarzan bundolo! Jane bundolo! Waziri bundolo! It’s all over, van Dorn. Scaggs, you’re history (and barely a footnote, at that).
If Tantor can unlock the straps with his trunk, he should also be able to use his trunk to grab Skaggs pistol and shoot the place up with it. GO TANTOR!!!
Three rules to live by:1. never name a warship “Invincible”2. never say that a ship is “unsinkable”3. never say that an obstacle – wall, glass window etc. – is “impenetrable”.
It seems that Van Dorn failed to research about use of elephants in war — as 6-tonne Asian elephants were able to smash the gates of Vatapi (modern Badami) in 642 AD; those gates were made with 18" thick boards, and reinforced with 3" thick steel (with foot-long spikes on the outer-side as an added deterrent). Admittedly it took several elephants to do this, but you can see that 2" of glass is puny compared to those gates — especially when you’re dealing with a larger (7-tonne) African elephant!

Who needs Jane when you got Tantor. Let me rephrase that…

Hmmm … that clown actually believed 2 inches of “special” glass would keep a 7-ton elephant out. Just don’t trip over Tarzan, Tantor.

Tantor is able to undo the restraints with his trunk!! Laminated safety glass to UL standard would not shatter, it should break like a car windshield.

Hey, there’s only one way for Skaggs to stop a charging Tantor. Take away his credit card!

I was just reading one of John Carter’s adventures and while on a mission he referred to himself as “Vandor.” Coincidence?
