    What just happened, Heart, is your new sidekick is becoming your former sidekick’s new best friend.

    @Heart

    Dean just made a friend… possibly a better one than you were to him… maybe.

    Oddly enough, Dean would seem to be in the wrong on this one.

    The way I understand it,it was implied that Deckard was a replicant.

    I’ve been told the same thing that Deckard was a replicant, but after watching the movie several times, I still don’t see it. Perhaps the book it’s based on claims Deckard is a replicant.

    In the book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K Dick, Deckard is definitely human. He is a middle aged police officer who is married, owns a mood organ to modify his moods, practises the religion Mercerism, and wants to emigrate off planet but can’t since he is unable to pass the medical exam (the planet is heavily polluted and everything is dying – hence the replicant animals). In the movie he drives off to live happily ever after with Rachel but in the book he kills her when she tries to kill him (she was aware of her status and was running a replicant version of the underground railway).

    There are two tragedies in life, Heart: not getting what you want and getting what you want.

    Face it Heart, you have a thing for nerds. Embrace it. They can be fun.

    Dick (author) said no, Scott said yes. Dick wrote the book – Deckard was human

    If they start making out, you may have saved Dean a bunch of time questioning his own feelings for years to come.
