Linda, I like the looks of your other consideration, but it looked kind of out in the country, which if I read things correctly, had me a bit concerned. I am glad you are closer to your family, you spoiling Grandma you! :-) Your new place looks very nice, it looks like you are in a neighborhood? Is the whole place yours? Or is it apartments? I guess your winters will be milder now too, huh? I had to wear a freaking jacket to work today! Dag nab it! Fall has arrived!
Hi Dry…just got back from taking my grandson to his one year visit to his pediatrician. He is doing fabulously…weight is 19 lbs and he is 2’ 6"….so sweet…trying to walk everywhere…his walker is his favorite toy when he is awake…he wants to be in it, exploring everywhere! I have really had to make my home baby safe. Yes, I decided if I was moving to be closer to them, that being 2 hours away was still too much. I am also closer to my new M.S. Neurologist, (woman doc who I adore!) and other health services. Its great on saturday to walk to a deli about half way between our homes and meet up with the kids for breakfast and plan some times for all of us and individually…I thought it might be too much being so close but its working out well. The house is a 3 family home. We each own our level. I have the ground level, and my neighbors are a quiet retired couple upstairs. The lower level is owned by an intern doctor (female) who is rarely there and when she is, all she seems to do is sleep and shower….lol…but then after 37 hours straight at the hospital, who can blame her? Its a really nice place, recently renovated, and NO home owners association telling us what we can and cant do! (I hated that in MN) I WILL HAVE PINK FLAMINGO"S IF I WANT THEM!! I dont but…
I didnt mean to write a blog here, just answering your question…long winded me!
Linda, I am glad you are happy where you are and that everything is working out well. And your answer was NOT too long!
Love these pictures. I am hard pressed to pick a favorite, although the little lady in training for the dog fight is pretty cute! So’s the pug who rescued the bunny! :-D

He’s making a list and checking it twice! And Chesney is on the coal-in-the-basket side!
