No it’s more interesting than that mrprongs. You should read the story, it’s the book of Ruth in the Bible and it’s only 4 chapters. After they return to Israel Ruth’s mother in law helps her find a new husband. It’s a lovely story.
She probably was in the wedding party at the first wedding, She could wear the first horrible dress that she had to buy.
Unless goodwill has already thrown it away as unsalable.
